Be Selfish Do Your Good
Be Selfish Do Your Good
When your strengths you come to know,
Are zilch in this foggy world,
When your dazzling ambition you know,
Is so small before the statues of others,
When in the forest with the darkest shades,
You are lost and eyes are blind,
When in the memories of your mistress,
Are faded your forces and assets,
When for the sake of your enemy's good,
You create your pit efficiently,
When for the bad of your lover's pinch,
You grow up thorns
in your skin,
When behind the doors you hide,
Your small fear from the dark,
When behind the face you hide,
A man so ambitious and potent,
When all your grip of the best hands,
Gets away from your reach,
When all your shades of happy colours,
Gets away from your bucket,
Then for your good once be selfish,
And put your hands on your chest,
For the sake of listening to your heart,
And for the sound of silence.
