Balance
Balance
On this journey, whenever she sees her next puddle,
She is keen to step, for she yearns to struggle.
Because to falter is not the way out,
And years from now, she wants to see herself sprout.
A ballet dancer’s feet,
would make her bleed.
Yet you’ll see her with sparkling eyes,
As you know she has come a million miles.
In a place where she has lived it all,
No matter her existence was small.
She’ll always have a story to tell,
And on her stories shall people dwell.
That there isn’t a thing she is scared of,
And not a mark she is ashamed of
Having a bittersweet taste of every challenge,
She’ll be a warrior who has always maintained her balance.
