It's not a race
It's not a race
Ambiguity kills, but monotony is no fun either,
And from here, life doesn't get any easier.
Although, it's not all doomed in misery,
The path henceforth is not smooth, but blistery.
Why I thought, I had the power to conquer it all,
For beyond the unquenchable thirst to tackle it all,
I forgot an important lesson, however small,
We weren't here to win,
For victory was never defined by him.
Later, than sooner it's good to know,
In handling these blisters with elan, lies all the grace,
For he created no race.
