AN ODE TO EVERY MOTHER
AN ODE TO EVERY MOTHER
From conception to birth
there is not a single day
When she is not worried
Or wanted to be away
Feeds with her hands
Takes care of you
Does not sleep in your fevers
While you don't have a clue
No one would love you more
Not even by chance
Always watches over you
Even with the most fleeting glance
Had always been stuck
Between the two sides
Child here father there
Love calls but her duty abides
There is just not enough
That I can say or write
Nature’s best creation
With the creator’s might
She is super, she is awesome
She toils, she fights still she will dote
You are the calm, the composure
You are the water that keeps us afloat
