Lead is an intriguing word

We, humans, appreciate one who intends to lead

When we are against something to forbid

We raise our voices and extend support to him to plead

Who has the potential to lead us with spirit and proceed?

 

Leaders are acknowledged across the globe

For their capacity to induce many to follow their probe

We love to observe

How a leader guide us to satiate our aspirations and infuse vigour into mass

We appreciate with warmth

Who leads from the front and enjoys the majority’s backup with a thumb

One can usher change in an available milieu

We majority support such a leader for his potential and lovely hue!

 

Lead as a metal is equally treated as extremely useful

It can be used to obliterate many human souls

Wink of an eye

It can kill many and none to have any vie

Bullets are capable of taking numerous lives

Lead alone can play a major role in promoting huge hype

It can drain innumerable human lives like a rivulet

Lead too can act as a tool to mop up living beings fret!

 

If lead may enter our body by any means

It can affect the human brain and entire physiology only to bring ruins

Slowly it can kill us

Making us numb by its presence in our body politic to pose a huge fuss!

 

But we cannot rule out

Lead plays a major role in suppressing the majority’s crying loud

Bullets alone can act as a deterrent

By eclipsing us with fear and forcing us to retreat like a torrent

We are forced to be encapsulated in a shell

Fearing bullets alone can make our lives hell

Knowing that it has the capacity to take a toll on numerous lives

Bullets can absorb human’s eloquence and vibes

Since centuries long

Fierce impact of bullets on human life domineering in prolong

Lead thus plays a huge role in overbear

On contrary to the lead’s role as a torchbearer

It is playing a role in decimating our breed with clamour

The duality of lead is truly an enigma

An element which can bring happiness as well anathema!
