Intriguing Design Of Life And Death!
Intriguing Design Of Life And Death!
I am engaged in a game,
Desperate to defeat my opponent, my aim.
My faculties honed with sheer ecstasy,
Treating my opponent as an enemy.
The game is a battle, a test to me,
Since inception, obsessed with a winning spree.
Considering my contender as my foe,
Life itself, a game, wins, and debacles in its flow.
Hardly can I envisage,
Belonging to a human fraternity, no room for rage.
Yet, enmity exists within us,
Indulging in flare-ups, in a ruckus.
We hardly care as humanity is trodden upon,
Bloody wars engulf us, ongoing since time immemorial dawn.
I wonder how the past propounds on us,
How death engulfs, a living being in chorus.
A sense of vengeance ingrained,
Satiating the desire for revenge in vociferous strain.
In a frivolous account,
We love to kill our own fraternity, a tragic amount.
Life and death entwined with an amazing fabric,
Nature crafted it with an intriguing rubric.
Death resorts to a pyre or grave,
The only truth experienced, not swayed.
Tide and ebb experienced in nature's floor,
Ups and downs in our lives galore.
Hardly fathoming when exactly at the top,
Or at the bottom, but eventually, a straight line we hop.
Reflecting on an E.C.G. monitor, we do not exist to align,
Life rolls on, a new form manifesting to hover on.
With no resemblance to the former state,
Yet, we poor humans experience life's hastened fate.
