How Melancholy Engulfs Our Cerebral!

People are blessing me

Telling me to live life and enjoy it with glee

But to be very honest

Can I enjoy life when I observe West Asia is in continuous unrest?

When I notice numerous lives of children, women, and aged

Dying unceremoniously in a state as if they were caged

I started to feel that my life was in sheer ignominy

Having no desire to survive in such a milieu of infamy!

 

I am a mere human

Having no claim that I bear an essence of life with vigorous flame

Utterly insignificant I am

My voice for equity and humanity will remain unheard and maimed

The game of few vile traits’ audacity makes huge uproar and clamor

Hardly taking notice of the graves

Where rich and poor are both lying in perpetual slumber without any rave!

 

War is a necessary evil

But few nefarious greedy souls find it a lucid format to anvil

Fomenting multiple nations to entangle with war

Where they can sell warheads to them only having the aim of wealth to garner

The poor majority are decimated by their errant

Where only they do their best to exist and enjoy the impact of supplant

But hardly could they that they too will surely go into oblivion

History reveals how Monarchs and Tyrants are just passed with sheer detestation

In today’s world who are prevailing and expressing their hegemony with zest

Hardly they could fathom within a short while that too become just non-existent!
