Alone Yet Not

Never felt so alone,

Away from you, I was,

Never been so withdrawn from the whole world,

For you were the only one for me.

I trusted you with myself,

But you too were me?

I wasn't alone then,

For you are always along,

Like a shadow,

I didn't intend to carry,

And yet I was. 

You journeys don't part,

But were meant to be together,

Until you and me,

Our shadows say the same thing.
