Accepting Endings
Accepting Endings
Today I Practice. Accepting Endings
The closure is an important part of the healing process It's when I accept that something significant has ended in my life. It could be a relationship, a business, a job, or maybe even a way of life. Letting go of something that was once important to me may be difficult. But without this acceptance, I will walk in circles trying to bring back to life something that's done. Generally, things end when there are no more lessons for me to learn. The cycle is complete. Though I may feel sad because it ended, I do try to appreciate that I had the experience and gained from it. The closure also helps me release my attachment to how I think things should be and helps me accept them as they are
Practicing closure puts me into a flow state resistance, which is like swimming upstream. The more I resist the more exhausted and drained I become, and that doesn't serve my highest good Accepting endings also helps me make room for new beginnings.
