They, The Soldiers
They, The Soldiers
Standing there, they left their mothers
On the border they missed their sisters and brothers,
Will he come safely back?
Or wrapped in the Indian Flag!
They are the reason we are alive
The Indian soldiers are our pride,
Summer, Monsoon or Winter they stood there,
To make sure that the Indians kept them in their prayer!
Look at the solider when he walks
Listen to the solider when he talks,
He didn’t walk, he limped,
He didn’t talk, he bumbled!
They stood on the border line
To make sure that we all were fine,
What a peaceful sleep we all had,
Being away from their families, they were all sad!
The headline stated,
“Bhausaheb Maruti Talekar was beheaded”
Maybe he was the only son a mother had,
Or a father who’s children called him Dad!
