A Wish in the Sky

I wish to be a twinkling star,

Shining at night.

Even being so far,

Can emit its light.

Being the surreal blanket in the sky ,

Consumes darkness with smile.

A billion glazing starlight, oh my my!

Which is longer than the river Nile.

Adding to the beauty, here comes the moon,

Which displays its light.

With its changing phases,

Can see it's magnetic moonlight.

Being the cynosure, it enthralls you all,

For varied reasons.

It makes you learn to be with all,

Celebrations with fervor in different seasons.

The moon under the siege of stars,

Is the brightest of all.

In the magnificent and limitless sky,

Comes these celestial bodies all.

May I fall one day,

To make your wish true.

And brings a ray of hope,

By rediscovering a new you.
