A Journey Of Success

The journey of success,

Seems to impress.

Astonishes me with wax and wane,

As every day is not the same.

Grappled to reach the school on time,

I got late as it was past nine.

Oh!! Before I could say,

It was our result day.

My name was announced, as I was playing with a compass.

Everyone clapped, as I had topped in the class!!

To all distractions, I had kicked off,

So, my hard work had paid off.

Reached home with elation,

With an indelible mark for my nation.

Culminates with accolades to cherish,

Have captured such moments to relish.

By adding triumphs year by year,

There was an unknown fear.

Was it the beginning of the recession?

Or a way of learning a new lesson.

I asked my mother meekly,

And she started explaining to me deeply.

Success and fear go hand in hand,

My daughter dear, stop playing with sand!!

No one can hold success,

Sometimes it may take a recess.

No one can stop failure,

It teaches you to be your own savior.

From victory to triumphs,

And failures to learnings,

Depicts a relation like a pen and ink,

Which are inseparable with a strong link.
