Child - A Mother's World!

Child - A Mother's World!

This isn't a story untold,

A child forms the mother's world.

Right from the time, it enters her tummy,

The emotions develop of being a mommy.

As and when you begin to grow,

The cravings begin and she starts to glow.

When you begin to move and kick,

That's when her mood swings begin to tick.

As lovely and fantastic this phase is,

She finds it difficult and is hardly at ease.

Soon she finds it too tiring to walk,

But loves to eat weird things like chalk.

As the due date finally comes near,

She is scared yet excited to deliver.

In the labor room, she almost gives up,

Sweating and panting, she even threw up.

Finally when you were out of her,

She couldn't help but smile amongst tears.

Crying and shivering covered with blood,

That's the way she saw you first.

As she lies there worn and torn,

That's how and when a mother was born!

Holding you firmly close to her chest,

She finally got a moment to rest.

Then began her wonderful journey,

That's the beginning of another story.

Nothing's ever gonna change her love for you,

A child forms a mother's world, yes it's true!
