A Haunting Inkblot

A Haunting Inkblot

Two steps forward, one step back,

Why must it be like that?

That familiar feeling was back again,

Back after it had long gone away.

These feelings of intense temptations are hard to define.

The only way I can seem to put it across is as an inkblot.

A blot that is interpreted in numerous ways.

Dark and abstract.

It makes me feel everything.

But ironically, it makes me feel nothing,

I succumb to this darkness of the mine.

A mere inkblot.

I know I must be stronger than that,

But I just cannot find the strength within me,

Because when it enters my head,

All is lost.
