A Cry For Lost Freedom
A Cry For Lost Freedom
We too are like you,
But you keep us in a place you call a zoo;
You watch us for your fun;
But you are denying us, our place in the sun,
You keep us all in captivity,
Is it not the height of human cruelty?
Where is your kindness, your pity,
Or is it all just your lip sympathy.
In to the wild we all born you Know,
To be free, to be happy, and grow,
You caught us, you bought us here,
Trapped, and to live in fear,
You domesticated us, you made us tame,
You made us a part of your entertainment, your game,
We live in a world of lost Freedom, where we will die,
No one to hear us, hear or our cry,
Understand we too are like You,
But you keep us in a place You call a zoo,
You keep us in captivity,
Where is your pity where your sympathy?
