A Cabin In A Forest
A Cabin In A Forest
Flicker goes the candle fire
Beneath the stars of hope, desire
Held between the golden rings
Surrounded by my paper wings
Crackle goes the death of leaves
On sunlit soil and distant eves
Laid on top of verdant grass
Colors change as times do pass
Lather goes the midnight wind
Of broken cause and dreams ruined
But still, the light of the moon does shine
And lights upon my fate defined
Prickle goes the bleeding thorns
In endless skies and finite morns
Stitched upon wounds I'll never sew
Hold me like I once did you
