A Bird

I am a bird,

Unconfined,

Unfailingly energized,

With wings,

Accustomed to,

FLY,

High in the cerulean sky,

Carrying,

An UNKNOWN smile.

But,

A gale hit my body,

My soul,

My heart,

And my smile.

I fell down,

In a hellhole!

It was dark and

Confined.

I lost my liberty,

My optimism,

And my elation,

And my SKY.

Then one day,

I saw a beam of light,

Emerging out!

I came to life,

Tried to get out 

Of the nightmare.

I FAILED.

But I tried again,

I am still trying

And I know that,

I WILL FLY,

One day,

In the azure sky with,

A KNOWN smile!
