Looking back at Life

I harked back at you.

Your serene smile tells me to dwell.

Your lucent eyes tell me to see the beauty inside.

Your pleasing vibe tells me to stop for a while!

Your flying curls tell me to untangle myself,

from this chaotic life!

Your little hands tell me to hug,

my fading bliss and my dimming light!

Your faith in me is telling me to believe in my inner voice!

But, Oh my God! I can't be enticed to you,

Since there's no way coming back to you!

I look myself in the mirror!

I cannot see the blithe smile,

It's hidden back in some phase of my life!

I cannot see the gleaming eyes,

The repressing darkness of my hurdles put the lid on those lights!

I can't see the hair flying either,

They're all confined in a bun-so tight!

I cannot see those dainty hands,

They're choked with unceasing expectations!

I cannot see any faith, neither the desire to live a life!

It's all so dark here that I seem to have forgotten the way to my very own light!

I wish I could beg you to,

Put a ray of light into my gloomy life!

I would love to try,

Try again to accept who am I,

Try again to find my own light,

Try again to untie myself from this baffling world of mine,

Try again to fly in the breezy sky!

And I swear, I would love to try again,

To LIVE MY LONG LOST LIFE!
