My Lost Book

I am Rajesh and just completed my graduation in science and preparing for medical entrance in Delhi. I am twenty-year-old and one day, my grandfather gave me a book named My Aim in life. He was a famous writer and was doctor also. He is always close to my heart at home and love me so much. He wanted me to be a doctor too. But I was not interested because I wanted to join Air force. But my family was full of doctors, so they pressurized me to become a doctor. So, he always spent his time with me and guide me. He one day came from the market and brought a book for me. He called me and told me to read it completely. Then you will understand everything about life and realize your aim in life. I took the book happily and put it in my study room. Then I went to outside to play cricket with my friend and returned in the evening. I washed my body and ate some snacks with tea and went to my study room for study.

I wanted to read the book which my grandfather had gifted me, so I went towards my study table to bring the book. But I didn't find it anywhere. I became very sad and searched everywhere but the book was nowhere. I asked my mom, but she couldn't tell me about that book.

I felt I had lost the book. Perhaps someone had stolen it. Some days passed away and I had to travel for Delhi for my medical exam preparation, So I packed my clothes in my bag and was to move for Delhi. My grandfather came and blessed me and asked me about the book. I couldn't understand how to reply to him, but he could understand that something has happened. So, asked me, what has happened? Why you are so sad? did you read the book or not? I then shook my head and said no. He asked why? I cried and said sorry I lost the book and didn't find anywhere. Grandfather then smiled and gave me something wrapped and smiled. I suddenly opened this and surprised and asked him, where it was? He told me that I had hide it to check your sincerity whether you are aware of things or not, but you are aware and passed my test. Everyone laughed and my father dropped me to railway station. Since then, I always take care of my belongings and the book changed my life forever.
