Long long ago there was a man named Ramu lived in a village named Rampur. He was a greedy businessman and was very miser.

He behaved with people in a rude manner. When people needed some help, he was speaking in a bad manner before giving some help. People were bearing him because he was a rich person in the village and people had to borrow some money from him in need. Initially , he was a small businessman and was helping everyone happily. But when he became a big businessman his behavior towards people also became rude and he became a selfish and greedy person.

People did not say anything to him but were not happy for his rude behavior.

As people were helpless and there was no other source for them, they were forced to borrow money from him.

One day he had to travel to city to buy some goods for his shop and it became night there. He returned home late night and on the way to village he felt tired and decided to take a shelter under a tree.

He was getting afraid of sitting there. Because he had heard that there was someone living in a peepal tree, and all villagers were not dared to come near this tree. Because there was a rumor that the ghost attacked some of the people who sat under it. And nobody was ever dared to come near the tree.

But the businessman was feeling tired and couldn't walk anymore so, he decided to sit under the tree for a while.

After some times the man fell as sleep. After a few minutes he heard a very horrific voice and woke up

He found someone was standing Infront of him.

He couldn't saw anything as there was darkness and said, who are You?

A voice came, I am God of tree and I have heard many gossips about your greediness. And people were talking that you speak to them in bad manner and also take double interest forcefully from them.

I will punish you for this... by saying this the deity cursed Ramu and he became a tree. He shouted, please leave me, I will be a good person, but the deity did not listen to him and said, this is your right place. People would collect your leaves and wood for their need.

On next morning, when people didn't get the greedy businessman, Ramu they thought that he might not return from city and enjoyed their lives in happiness.
