Book is My best friend
Book is My best friend
I am Rahul and I am a twelve standard student at Xavier school I always love to stay alone in my room and read many books. I have made a book as my best friend. After my studies, I read stories and Comic books. My parents call me homesick. I love to read books and entered into my favorite character in the book. One day I was going to a nearby bookstore to buy some books. Whenever I go to purchase some books related to my studies, I purchase one more book which I think to be useful. This time I purchased a book named My experiment with the truth which was written by our Father, Mohan Das Karamchand Gandhi. This is his autobiography. Really this book is amazing, it is totally related to Gandhiji's whole life and how he managed his life through this book he has expressed his feelings to the world and he has also taught many valuable lessons for life. We can use it and implement it in our life. Gandhiji has told us how he had faced many difficulties due to his bad habit and then he realised that he had committed many mistakes in his life and tried to correct them.
I thought I can include his thoughts in my school's Essay competition
One day my school teacher called me and told me about an inter-school essay competition and asked me to tell, other students, as well to participate in it as I am a school monitor it was my responsibility to tell them about the competition. I took part in an essay competition and wrote about Gandhiji and his life which I had learned from his book, My experiment with truth. Everyone participated and the time of the result came and the teacher announced my name as a winner of the competition with first prize. I couldn't believe my ear and felt so glad for the day and gave all my credit to my best friend which was a book, The Experiment with truth Gandhiji's autobiography, and thanked him from the core of my heart. Everyone wished me the first prize and I then returned to my home. I told my parents about the competition and showed the trophy to them they blessed me and I wished me the best for the success in future. I took my lunch and went to my study room there I wrote a thank note to Gandhiji and took a nap for some time. Gandhiji came to my dream and said, Rahul, You are my boy! You have kept my truth by telling people about my life and for this, I am proud of you. In this way tell everyone to correct their mistakes in life and move forward to live a happy life by adopting nonviolence and truthful news in their lives. And tell people to stop fighting over little things and live together with respect and honesty. As it was my dream to protect animals and give importance to cleanliness in our surroundings and gradually in the whole country. Make a habit of keeping the environment clean from pollution and clean the water of ponds, lakes, and rivers. Keep our villages and cities clean and use them as per our needs so that they can be used further for future generations. I promised Gandhiji to keep my promise. Meanwhile, my mom called me, Rahul where are you? your friend Rohit has come. My eyes suddenly opened from the dream and Gandhiji disappeared. I called him but he was not there. I thought, Gandhiji came into my dream and left me by teaching me so many things. Then I washed my face and went to our drawing room to meet Rahul. We together discussed Gandhiji and promised to improve our behaviour and bring some changes in society as much as we can.
