I Hate Being An Egyptologist!

With sphinxes and mummies

Pyramids and ancient monkeys

The most dangerous and scary land of all

Egypt is the one which stands very tall.

I am an Egyptologist better than an archaeologist

The whole of Egypt I study

Sand, trees and the mummies.

This job is very murky regardless

The treasures I get

There was once this time when live mummies fed on my friend

There was again this time when Tutankhamun had come to life

But those were the good times when I was pretty sure I was alive.

But now I lay in my coffin I sleep

Turned into a mummy by Tutankhamun who was in glee.

Here I eat

Here I sleep, drink, fart and burp.

This coffin is the place where I said my last words

Being an Egyptologist I hate

As this was the job that turned my horrifying fate.

A dentist or a scientist was much better

But I became an Egyptologist

And I regretted my decision later
