World Wonder
World Wonder

In time come, a world like none
A barren land, useful to none
It strikes us then of what we did
An act which like any, to the end forbid
Out in the scorch, dry in the heat
Praying to find a shade for our feet
There stands a tree, one like any
Which we fail to see, when felling many
Dry to the throat, with cries so shrill
There comes water, with a glass up to fill
We’d never know, the thing we behold
Is what we need, more than gold
The time has come, now more than ever
To not take it granted, and to be clever
Let’s hold hands, for a selfless earth
To conserve our mother, of all that’s worth
