Wisdom Is Strength

Once upon a time, deep inside the dense jungle, the lion who is the king of the jungle roars loudly. All the animals in the jungle were afraid on hearing their king’s roaring sound as they knew from the roaring sound that their king is very hungry and will start now to hunt. All animals went into their home and locked the doors to save them and their family members from the king’s hunger.

The lion came and knocked on the door of all the animals and said, “I am very hungry”. But the lion’s effort ended in a vain, as it couldn’t get his food. On the way back to its home, the lion saw a squirrel under a tree and also noted that the squirrel got hurt in its leg. The hungry lion went near the squirrel and said, “I am going to kill you my dear squirrel”. A wise rabbit who is the best friend of squirrel was observing the lion’s eagerness to hunt the squirrel. The rabbit planned to save his friend using his wisdom. The rabbit ran fast near to the lion and said, “Please leave the squirrel our great king”. The lion with extreme anger looked at the rabbit and said, “Oh! Thank GOD, the most awaited and very tastier food for my hunger”. Also, the lion thought, “The squirrel was not enough for my stomach but the rabbit is enough for my stomach”. So the lion let the squirrel escape.

The rabbit pleaded to the lion, “My great king I’m happy to give my life for you, but I have a last wish and I could be happy if you could fulfill my last wish”. Without knowing the plan of the rabbit, the proudest lion asked,” what is your wish?”. The rabbit said that on the way to its home I saw a new lion which is almost similar to you, and told that he came to kill you and be the king of this Jungle. Also, the rabbit added, “That new lion tried to kill me, but I escaped from him and got caught here to you, I promise you that I’m very blessed to be your food rather than someone else”. So, I will show where that Greedy Lion is now. You kill him and after that, I will be your food happily. The rabbit asked the lion to peep into the well to find the new lion. The lion peeped into the well and roared on seeing another lion in the well. The stupid lion is not aware that what it sees is the reflection of his own. The rabbit said to the lion that, “I will wait here, you go and kill him”. The lion jumped into the well and died. Now all the animals in the jungle were very happy.
