When did i become like my father

Being the first child, I always got a little more love, a little more care, a little more of everything—at least till I had a sibling. In this, I would say the person I loved the most was my Papa. I thought he was the best; anything I asked, he would get me. He would never scold me, he would always appreciate me in front of others, and he would love me like anything in the world. To him, I was always something to be proud of, and I always loved him a little more than Mumma.

But then years passed, I grew up, and started to realize loopholes. I started to see the parts I never imagined, and our thoughts started to clash. We started arguing, and eventually, we are at a point where he is not my favorite person anymore, and maybe he has also stopped seeing me as someone to be proud of.

I won't say I don't love him anymore, because obviously love can't be erased, but now I don't want to be like him. And the worst part is, without even realizing, I am slowly becoming like him. In every behavior of mine, in every single action of mine, his reflection is clear. I also raise my voice when I want to get things done. I have his temper; I can't be calm to handle the mess... and all this was what I hated.

I still love you Papa, but i don't want to you..
