We have heard our family or friends often tell us when we are apprehensive about a new venture or person, "What's the worst that can happen?" They feel that by saying so, they are encouraging us to imagine the worst case scenario, overcome the fear and go ahead. BUT, yes, I have to butt in, do we realise that every thing that we see today was once a part of our imagination. Our realities are created by our thoughts. Significantly, Like attracts Like; that means positive thoughts attract more positive people, things and situations while negative thoughts attract more negative people, things and situations. Sounds unbelievable? Have you noticed that when you face a bad day, it appears that all the possible problems seem to be coming together on the same day? The reason is that the mind focused on one problem which then attracted another negative thought or problem. Now, you might say, "I did not ask for the car break down or my boss yelling at me or the maid not coming to work." Let us introspect. What were the thoughts racing through your mind when the car broke down? "Why did this happen to me?!, I am going to be late for work!, My boss is going to fire me!, How will I submit the presentation on time?! .etc". So, it was one negative thought which attracted more negative thoughts. Similarly, when something exciting happens, we notice that there are too many good things and miracles happening on the same day. Again, it is yours Truly, the Mind which played its role in getting all the good news together. Think about the immense power that we possess to create and shape our lives. So, instead of focusing on what's the worst that can happen, why don't we imagine, What's the Best that can happen? How great it is going to be when....! How awesome it is going to be when beautiful, amazing things are going to unfold in my life? Can you feel the excitement and the surge of joy when you say these sentences followed by whatever you desire?! Start talking to yourself and everyone around you by telling them to imagine the best possible outcome. Most importantly, have faith and belief. Not an iota of doubt! Have trust in the God/Universe/Higher power. Remember our Thoughts lead to Feelings which lead to Actions which create our Realities! So, Happy Thinking and keep asking yourself and others everyday, "What are the good things that happened today?" and "What are the good things that can happen today?" Happy Thoughts lead to Happier Lives.
