Vinnie [Part 1]

"Much better" said Vinnie adding a few final touches and taking a final look at her ongoing painting.. It was no lie that she was called THE best artist in the whole school.. Although she was only 9, her paintings were always brilliant. All of Vinnie's paintings looked as if they were drawn by an expert. Her art teacher was especially proud of her. 

Her school, Lawrence Maison, was situated on a cliff. Below was an excellent sea. Her school was more of a hostel. The girls in that school stayed there 10 months and were given holidays for two months.. The garden in front of her school was full of exotic flowers. 

One of Vinnie's favorite places to draw was the rooftop. It had a perfect view of the sea and the garden. Her art teacher, Miss E. Clarkson had some of Vinnie's paintings hung around the art room.. "You're jolly good at it" said Kenny, Vinnie's best friend. Everyone loved Vinnie's paintings, regardless the age. She had a lot of friends that she often made paintings for. 

Being an introvert, Vinnie never really liked making new friends. Her passion was art. She was scared that a new friend would criticize her work and shed lose confidence. She often went on walks alone, even though her friends we're always ready to accompany her. Vinnie always remembered to take her small drawing notepad with her and her portable water color kit in case anything caught her attention on the road. 

A rainy Tuesday, Vinnie went on a walk wearing her raincoat. Her mind was somewhere else that day, something that she had seen in the school had caught her attention. Her school was situated in a kind of deserted area. It was always very unusual to see an unknown person near the school because that location was quite unknown to people. Vinnie had not seen a person but something rather odd, something in the dark, that she couldn't explain..
