Two Birds

There was a big tree in a small forest surrounded by many small villages. On the tree was a nest of a big bird, which has two newly born birds

One day a big storm went out and the mother bird died. The babies flew away as they were very tiny. One of them went to a family which was very selfish and always wants something by doing nothing and the family was just like a robber and another bird went to which always works hard and helps others.

 Once a poor saint came to the village. He went to that selfish family to drink some water.

Bird says [rudely] “What you want?” 

Saint says [tiredly] “I want some water.” 

Bird says [angrily] “Get out! We don’t have water.”

The saint goes away sadly, so he disappointed and went across the second bird’s house who was from a good family. So, the bird saw that the saint was very tired.

 The bird says to him “you are so tired you can come and rest at my house.”

Saint says “You are a too good bird, God bless you!”

Bird says “Come have some water and food”

The saint ate something and went.

After some days both birds went flying through the forest. Suddenly, they meet each other. As the good bird was bigger than the robber’s bird. So, it tried to explain to him that stealing is a bad thing and we should not do it because our mother always used to say that if you try to keep everybody happy around you then you will be a kind and a good bird for everyone. 

But the Bad bird wasn’t able to understand his saying. After a few months, the good bird heard that villagers fired that selfish family from the village. From that day the bad bird was seen neither in the village nor in a nearby forest. Good bird always thought his brother should have a good upbringing.
