Mohan was a B. A.final year Student who always sticked to his study and sports. Somali was a BA.first year student who was shy by nature inspite of her brilliant academic career. Both Mohan and Somali had an extraordinary talent in the field of sports and vocal music respectively wherefore they were securing medals from state and national level each year during intercollegiate competitions. Besides as both of them were topper in the final examination, the Principal of the College arranged a Welcome Meeting inside the college campus.

The Principal presided over the meeting. All the students of the College gathered in the campus. Before starting the meeting, the Principal delivered the inaugural speach. He addressed the audience, " Dear students and my colleagues, today we are extremely proud of having two jewels among us. They are Mohan and Somali who have kept up the dignity of our College this year in the field of education and culture. We wish their future life to be well established in the long run. " After his speach was over the Principal got down from the Dias and sat on the chair. Then sweetmeet packets were distributed among the students and teachers. Guest of the honour, who was a MLA was being treated specially too.

It was the red letter day in the life of Somali and Mohan. Their joy knew no bounds. They greeted each other with cordial handshake which created a positive impact on their minds. Both felt enough spiritful and enthusiastic towards maintenance of their careers. Their parents had also accompanied them and attended the meeting. Parents of the both also greeted to one another for the succes of their students. Parents of Somali invited Mohan 's parents to their house for a dinner party which was ended with an ample cordiality. While leaving Somali's house, Mohan 's parents also invited Somali's parents in reciprocity. Mohan 's parents accepted the invitation and had a get-together during Dassera. The discussion between Mohan 's and Somali's parents were based on the matrimonial proposals of Mahan and Sonali. They wanted their offsprings to be united with a conjugal bond after the end of their academic career while they will be self depended with their own income.

Time rolled on and on. In due course of time Mohan completed PG in Business Management whereas Somali also completed her PG in Computer Science along with MCA. Both eventually got jobs in a reputed Company. They were keeping themselves busy most of the time too. While they were getting leisure they were exchanging their views with each other at home through mobile phones. While an bachelor Indian son and a spinster daughter confirmed by their respective parents about the marriage, they always become free of any complicacy or social fear. Likewise Mohan and Somali enjoyed their juvenile spirit with full swing.

Though every human is always liable to be subdued by biological need, in case of Mohan and Somali it was sheerly exceptional. Both were maintaining celebacy even though in their twenties. They gave also top priority to Aryan based moral conducts which reflected in their daily life. Celebacy and austerity were strictly maintained by Mohan and Somali. They had also promished never to indulge themselves in the degraded activities which might affect the image of their parents as per the background. They were ambitious to achieve a better position through perseverance and honest labour.

Gradually romance and unconditional love affairs tied both the young ones with a sactified rope of cordiality. They were working, making merry, plying to each other's houses with utmost discipline. But man proposes, God disposes. When a man is service bound, man has to obey the rules. After one year Somali was transferred to Colombo and Mohan got promoted to higher rank. Both were best and honest workers of the companies. So authorities had a special sympathy for them.

The sudden departure of both the would be couples created a gloomy environment among the colleages and family members. Most of the times they were exchanging their emotions over phone. They were quite upset. While Somali was in transit leave she faced a severe road accident while moving to headquarters by a taxi. She emailed Mohan about this accident which was unexpected. So Mohan applied for a week's long leave and immediately he booked flight tickets to Colombo. His and Somali's parents were quite worried for the mishap too. They also accompanied with Mohan. After six hours they reached Colombo. They rushed to the Castle Street women's hospital by taxi being embarrassed immensly. The situation was grave. As the accident was fatal Somali was shifted to Emergency Ward(ICU) from Casualty ward by the time of their arrival.

Ms. Somali was senseless due to serious damage to her brain and limbs. Extreme loss of blood caused her weak. Mohan and others tried at their best to save Somali's life at any cost. But all their efforts were in vain. Doctors declared her as dead after four days of fatal accident. Mohan had already broke down and became quite emotional. He started crying like a baby. His parents and Somali's parents tried to solace him. But they failed. His love had left him alone in the mundane world. He can never get her again with whom he wanted sincerely to spent his life as a husband. But God disposed all contrary to his proposal. Mohan was embracing Somali's lifeless body drenching her garments with a flow of tears. Mohan was completely love lorn as the love between him and Somali was true and eternal without any carnality.

Then Somali's dead body was carried to her residence by return flight. The cremation ground was packed by staff members of Mohan and Somali. Parents of Mohan and Somali were weeping with utmost grief. Mohan embraced Somali for the last time before setting her dead body on the heap of the funeral pyre. Mohan took an oath by touching the pyre, " I, Mohan, is a true Sanatani. I was loving Somali truly under the permission of my parents and Somali's parents. She was my would-be. I was going to marry her next year. She was only my beloved one whom I loved. Both were loving each other immensely. But that love was cordial based on celebacy purely. I am a sincere devotee of Lord Shriram who was monogamous. His idea was to adopt only one woman as Mother Sitaji. Hence I prefer to remain as a bachelor life long on the name of Somali."

While the cremation was over the parents of Somali collected a piece of bone and ashes in a earthen pot. All the kith and kins returened home. The ashes of Somali's burnt body were flown into the Mahanadi. Only a piece of finger bone was saved by Somalis father for full processing of funeral rites.

Mohan as a sincere lover and an idealistic youngman, he again stuck to his profession as usual with a positive motive. He could not agree to marry in spite of persuatión of his parents. Rather he built a marble statue of late Somali and installed it inside the campus of his building. His younger brother married as per the suggestion of his parents to keep up the progeny.
