Sometimes, as senior citizens, we ponder why there are numerous religions when it is said that God is one, with one Brahma and no second. Had global mankind adopted one religion or belief, namely the concept of an infinite God, since time immemorial, then our global village might have been a paradise imbued with peace and harmony; the best human qualities of family members of the global house would eventually prevail.

Alas! On the contrary, there are many dogmas, bigotry, eccentricity, superstitions, and atheism prevailing since long ago, whereby the true essence of religion cannot be cherished by the global mass. Especially in India, which is a subcontinent comprising of multicultural, multilingual, multicharacter, and multibelief society, it is quite impossible to motivate people towards the conception of an everlasting, omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent Almighty God's entity in oneness. Some effort was made by the late Gandhiji to motivate independent Indian people towards the progressive process of achieving unity in diversity through Ramdhun, but it was later thwarted. This is self-evident that where there is trust and belief in one God (whatever may be the form and figure), peace, fraternity, and harmony can never abandon that region. For example, Arabian, American, and European countries, USSR, China, Japan, etc., are among the most developed countries in the world compared to India.

However, to bring peace and harmony to the Indian subcontinent, it may be fruitful if every Indian family practices meditation or prayer to the Lord Almighty daily, irrespective of divergent beliefs, for the well-being of the nation. Then, the Indian atmosphere may be transformed into an idealistic one.
