SCHOOL DIARY📚 #2

Monty and Evanna's friendship grew more over time. They spent a good time in their school together. They participated in academic as well as sports activities enthusiastically and were admired by almost everyone. Still, there were teachers and students who were really partial to Monty because she wasn't an old student. Monty also felt depressed but someone was always there on her side, Evanna. 

Their session was about to end in 2 more months. Peak wintertime!

And also right time sports meet of the school. All the participants got really excited on the day of the announcement, especially our athletes, Monty and Evanna. They participated in a relay race, 100 m, 200 m, hurdles and a sack race. As a result, both of them secured good ranks and got selected to represent their house with some other students of different classes. They were in a GREEN house. In the recess, they practised a lot for the event.

But then suddenly, one day, it was told that Monty would be playing the role of a substitute. Monty was really disappointed because she had practised each day with lots of zeal but everything got shattered. She exclaimed to Evanna, "Huh! it's better to be a spectator and supporter of our house rather than being a boring substitute." Evanna could feel what Monty felt and wanted to do something for her.

She wanted to make her understand the value of a substitute and wanted to make her confident at the same time! All of a sudden, a great plan struck her mind, she kept it a secret. She urged Monty to keep practising with her despite being a substitute and filled her mind with optimism. Along with their running practice, they also continued their workout-dance practice which was to be performed at the Sports meet. Monty kept her hope for dance and did it gracefully with Evanna. Eventually, they became the lead dancers, happy moment!

It was time for their sports meet. They were really excited and hopeful. First, it was time for the dance and the audience enjoyed it very much and spice was added by the grace of the lead dancers. Then it was time for the athletics events. Evanna participated in some of the events and secured 1st position. Monty was also happy for her but felt a little bad for herself. 

Evanna unexpectedly hurt her ankle. Everyone was worrying. Some students took her to the sickbay and the teacher told Monty to participate in the remaining events on behalf of Evanna. She was exuberated for her efforts to come true but also sad for Evanna's sprain. But now, she had trust in herself and took part. She also made her house win and everyone were proud!!! They were awarded trophies and medals. Monty was especially appreciated for her achievements.

But surprisingly, this unexpected incident with Evanna wasn't actual and was pre-planned by her only!

She wanted to give chance to Monty in half of the events, so she compromised some from her part, only for her bestie. She signalled Monty in a funny and secret way to go ahead and take part in the race while going to the sickbay. 

This was the true evidence of their strong friendship. It also teaches them to be there with friends in dark times of their life and support them in every thick and thin.
