This Is The Spirit Of New Me!!

This lockdown time was taking a toll on my mental and physical health. My mom is my motivator so I called her up and vented all my emotional turmoil. She said one thing to me that "tough times make us tougher. A little positivity goes a long way. "I always thought how does she manages to be so strong and positive?? She told me your happiness and peace is in your hands. You have to decide how you going to deal with things, people situation, with a positive attitude or with a giving up attitude. I have seen my mother battling all her fights like a true super hero, she indeed is a super hero for me sans Cape. And I think this is how legacies are passed on. This is my story, this pandemic has introduced me to a #Newme. The day I stopped self pitying and started appreciating myself, a new me was born, I started valuing myself, this gave me new confidence, I started to enjoy the little things I did and started patting my own back because I knew what I am worth of. So here I am.. The hidden #Newme!! just a little push and she was out and unstoppable. So I am taking this privilege to introduce this #Newme to my fellow writers !!

A fantastic daughter, a crazy sister, a wonderful daughter in law, a beautiful wife a super mom, a best friend, a confidant, a good listener, and a positively, weird, blessed person ...

Some times a wonder chef, some times a fixer, sometimes a nurse, some times a chauffer, sometimes a punching bag, sometimes a problem solver some times a cribbing wife, sometimes annoying mother, sometimes Google, sometimes a goofer.. No one can play my role better...Donning all my hats when needed.

I love books, I love writing, I love the smell after rain, I love to say hello to strangers, I love the feeling of being loved, I love songs, I love hot brimming tea/ coffee, I know I am weird and random, but who is not?? Everyone has their own importance in the world, I have mine..

It doesn't matter what people think of me. I am, who I am and their approval I don't need. I say what I feel, it's not being rude, it just being real. I am strong, I am vulnerable, I am beautiful, I am bold, I am sparkle, with a heart of gold, I am supportive, I am surprising, I am imperfect, I am rude, you are nobody to judge me dude, I am much more than my scars, you don't know me and my journey so far, I make mistakes and don't hide, I take everything in my stride. This is what I am, this is who I am. Love me, hate me I don't care..

I am not here to please everyone I am not different, I am just being myself. I know this is my original me and I know my worth. People will any way judge so who cares. I am natural, I am original.

I am an advisor, I am a caretaker, I am a hug giver, I am a nurturer. I am strong smart and crafty, I am passionate, emotional and Beauty. I am hope, I have power, I have my brain and I know how to use it. I don't fake myself to be perfect, because I know perfect is not real, that is what I feel.
