Think Before You Advise

Once upon a time a mother with her child came to meet Mahatma Gandhi ji, the child always used to eat sweets with every meal. Mother thought Gandhi ji could give her child a good advice for that she came to meet Mahatma Gandhi ji. Mother explained her problem to Gandhi ji, for which Gandhi ji asked to visit after 3 weeks.

After 3 weeks the mother again visited Gandhi ji. Gandhi ji advised the child that, "If you eat more sweets your teeth will get spoiled." The child's mother asked Gandhiji, he could have advised in the last visit.

Gandhi ji answered, "Three weeks ago, I also liked to eat sweets with every meal."

First Gandhi ji wanted to get free of the habit and then he advised the child.
