The calling bell rang multiple times in a dilapidated building. The loud siren was deafening the ears. The city was bombarded with artillery shells and the gulf of smoke and fire was gulping whatever came in its way. The bunkers were overcrowded with people suffocating and severe dearth of basic amenities.

At last with difficulty the army broke the door and barged in. The room was scattered with papers rugged in dirt, dirty linen and old photographs of relatives dead and gone.

In a corner sat our old man with the candle stand in anticipation of light at the end of the tunnel.

There was light everywhere but not the soothing one just a destructive illumination that brought us the catastrophe.
