On a fine evening, I was going to my tuition with my mother. We were getting on a bus when suddenly I heard a flute. I turned around and saw an old man playing a flute, on his right side I saw a small circular box, in it was a ten - rupee note. I stopped by and listened to the sweet melody of the man playing the flute. But nobody was giving him any money. He was trying so hard to earn even a rupee, but nobody gave him atleast a coin. I felt bad about the man. He was about to leave the place. I hurriedly asked mom to give me a twenty - rupee note. I ran towards him to give the note. He blessed me as I gave him the note

. I asked mom why she never gave a poor man some money? Even if he/she is not talented. She told me that to earn money, people must work hard. Just like this man does. But people who just sit and beg for money, cannot be gifted with it. But this man work hard to earn money. Sitting all day and playing a flute. It may be exhausting for us, but not for them. They live their live only eating a grain of rice. Think before you throw the food you don't want to eat in the dust bin. Those people starve for days and weeks and even, months to eat even a grain, and us, who just get food in a fraction of seconds, waste so much? So from that day, after my mother's words, I never wasted food and understood, The Value Of Money
