Sara was sitting on her chair and working on her laptop when she had a seizure again. For the third time in a month. Sara was a 25-year-old woman who has completed her post-graduation in English Literature from a renowned university and her parents were proud of her. Sara was proud of her too but somewhere there was a hole in her life that she wasn't able to fill.
Sara's disability was covert, it was not seen by anyone and everyone. The truth was that she had epilepsy from the age of four. Every time that she went out from her home, a thought bubble came up, What if?
What if she had a seizure when she is on the road or the metro or the college. She has to be careful every time, steps out of her house. Sara was like everyone else, but inside she was fighting a different battle. That is when Karan steps into h
er life. Karan was lively and energetic, he was one of the people, Sara found to be true. Sara had a limited number of friends in college and one of them was her best friend, Dolly. Sara and Dolly often used to hang out together in college. One day, in the canteen, Karan approached Sara for a coffee date to which Sara readily agreed. Sara and Karan started meeting on a daily basis, at the coffee shop, malls, and even for an evening walk. Karan encouraged Sara at every angle of her life. After meeting Karan she would always feel more positive towards her life. Still, she was uncertain about her future, her marriage, and her job. She was scared that her neurological disorder might affect her day to day life. Though she had her timely medicines and take all the precautions. Somewhere, she still has fears about her marriage and family life.
