The Terrifying Night

India’s Mumbai, is the city that never sleeps, the city with beautiful architecture and clubs. But even in this city, there are some areas which are forgotten and remembered for their conditions and for being deserted a long time ago. One such place is the Mukesh mills which are quite famous because of the haunted picture it creates and the haunted stories connected to it. 

I am Armaan and it was evening, 5:30 pm. I and my friends Nafis, Sahil, Asif, and Azeem were staying at my house from Morning as we were having fun. I had to give them a treat because I had bought a new Camera for myself as I was a Photographer. We spent time together.

8 o'clock and then my friends gave me and Sahil a challenge. The challenge was to stay at Mukesh Mills the whole night. We didn't briefly know about Mukesh Mills but we had an idea that it was a haunted place. But then Asif told us about the place as his picnic spot was located near somewhere the Mukesh Mills. He told us that "It is believed that the Mukesh Mill is haunted by a restless spirit of a man who used to work in the mill at some point in time and died a tragic death while working and hence is always roaming around in this deserted area. But no one knows for sure whether the spirit roaming around the mill's area is a man or not and where it came from? Another such mystery of the mill is the sudden fire that destroyed the mill 1982." We thought all that it was nonsense. Usually, people who lived in Mumbai knew about it very well that the place is haunted. but I don't use to live there I used to travel for the wildlife photographs and a very few times haunted pictures. We accepted the challenge and we all five friends left for Mukesh Mills. I and Sahil carried our Cameras for the photographs and to complete the challenge. When we reached the place we saw that it was closed. Now the problem was how will we complete the challenge? We started roaming around the Mills to get inside. While Sahil was searching, he saw a small piece of wall which had shivered. He calls out our names and said that he found a way to get inside. Then I and Sahil went inside.

Nothing was clearly visible, We switched on the torch and came into a big hall. It was really too spooky for us but we started clicking the photographs. As we went deeper we felt someone who is calling us from our side. When we turned our face to the side we found that there was no one. We started walking again. Then I felt someone's presence at my back. When I turn around I found that there was no one. I felt uneasy, I said Sahil to leave from here. But Sahil didn't pay attention to my words and moved left me alone at the back. It had passed 5 minutes, when I was clicking photographs I saw a man in the camera who was standing near the door. I thought it was Sahil, so I said to him to click pictures of another room. But he didn't listen to me and gave no response. I went near him and called out his name again, but he didn't reply. I went to him and I saw that it was not Sahil, it was someone else. The person turns back and looked at me and that time what I saw was unbelievable. I saw that it was a man who had big teeth and nails like a vampire and his eyes were blooding. And suddenly he strangled me. I roared out Sahil's name. Sahil came from my back and he saw me lying on the floor. He called our friends and they came to take me to the hospital. I felt conscious. And when I was taken to hospital the doctor said that someone tried to kill him by strangling him. The next morning when I woke up I found myself in my house and my friends surrounded by me. Sahil asked me who tried to kill me. Then I told him everything. And in the afternoon when I saw the pictures of the Mills, my soul trembled. I saw that the souls all over surrounded me. That Night went the most horrible and spooky night of my life. I still remember it.........
