The Surprise

I sat cradled in the branches at the top of an old oak tree in the backyard of my grandmother house. The view was great. While I sat there, I saw A cute little puppy with his tongue out. Though, I should have adored him but he was continuously staring at me like he was adoring me. He tried to indicate something to me so I jumped from the tree as quick as a flash and started following him. I oblivious that I came so far from the home that the way of home just slipped of my mind. For a moment, I got bundle of nerves and felt heebie-jeebies but then what attracted me was the mystery of where did the dog has took me. He started to woof by staring at the door and tried to pull me with full force towards the door.

When I touched the door, it opened up automatically with a creak sound. The house was as a spine-chilling ramshackle monument. The house was full of dust everywhere and had number of spiders with their webs. My brain compared it to a haunted house depicted in a fictional movie. Well, I took my right foot forward and started moving. Even though, I got Goosebumps and my body was shaking, I didn’t ceased myself. I explored the whole house. There was a room with a shelf. The shelf was actually a door. I tried to step inside with a sense of jittery inside me. I was on pins and needles. I got my jaw dropped as I saw a box full of gold, silver and diamonds! I was ay seventh heaven.

When I was going out of the home, the dog was vanished and there was a note dropped. Before, I started reading, my friend came and pushed me and started laughing. I opened the note and it was written It was a prank! I bent out of shape when the bombshell was dropped. Suddenly I got the sound of someone shouting Wake Up, Wake up, Wake up and I realized this was all my dream!
