The Strength Was Unbroken
The Strength Was Unbroken
In 2018, I faced immense turmoil within my family. My parents' constant arguments created a rift, with even small misunderstandings causing days of silence. However, as lockdown struck, they managed to reconcile.
In 2021, during my board exams, I fell ill with a high fever. Sleepless nights left me restless and haunted by past traumas. One fateful night, I had a dream where those painful memories played before my eyes, feeling like déjà vu. When I awoke, I chose to keep these memories buried, as my family had moved past them, and I didn't want to reopen old wounds.
But soon, I experienced something even worse – sleep anxiety. The agony was indescribable, leaving me in a panic upon waking. To cope, I turned to writing, penning a poem titled "The Stolen Memories" to release the emotional burden.
