The Stopwatch

Preface

One day in a village called Blexington, there was a family of 6 people. The father of the family had died in a war, so their mother had to take care of the family all alone. They had a sufficient amount of money so they had no problem. The mother’s name was Grietta. She had 3 girls and 2 boys. The oldest boy, Welson , was studying in 9th grade. The girls were triplets. The oldest of them was Monica, who was studying in 7th grade. The second oldest was Serenity, who like her sister was also in 7th grade. The youngest of them was Cynthia, also on the 7th. They also had a younger brother named Waize. He was studying in 4th grade. Welson was very good at athletics. He was now training for the ” IRON MAN “. Monica was the smartest of them all. She knew almost everything in the world. Serenity was the kindest of them all. She was an average scorer and was slightly keen on her style. She was always responsible and prepared for any situation. Cynthia, was just a spoiled apple. She never scored even an average. Her full focus was on how to dress up and fashion-forward. Waize was an awkward boy. He liked to talk to himself, which would make himself a little too sad. He always looked glum, even on his birthday.

The watch

Serenity had a very close friend named Jennifer Blaze. Both of these girls grew up together since they were 2 years old. Serenity was very careful of who she chose as friends, and so far she hadn’t made any mistakes. Jennifer had no siblings and so her parents got her pets instead. So far she has a parakeet, guinea pig, and a cat named Mouse. This birthday was very ordinary. As usual, the guests came, played games, and gave gifts. One such gift was one from her Great Grandfather (who was very rich). Since she didn't really see him around anymore, this was a surprise for her. She decided to take these books upstairs and open them in her room with Jennifer. She dragged Jennifer upstairs into her room. They placed the beautifully wrapped box between them. Serenity shook the box. She felt the item was a bit too small for such a big box. She tore open the wrapper hoping for something expensive or priceless but got something disappointing. An ordinary watch and a letter. She skimmed through the letter and found out that this "ordinary" watch was a family heirloom. Jennifer decided it was useless and started toying around with it. Serenity was about to pull it out of her hands but one of Jennifer's fingers pressed a button and the button broke. Suddenly a bright orange fume erupted around them. After it was gone, Jennifer disappeared. Serenity read hurriedly through the letter and found out she missed a line : " If you toy around with this priceless object you will pay. In other words, an orange fume will erupt and they will be banished from our realm forever."
