The Smart Girl

Joe Serif, a Police Officer. One cold winter night, his friend Jack threw a party for all his friends. As it was 12:00 am by now he left his house. He went to the free parking lot, when without warning dark thunderous clouds gathered overhead with a threat of a heavy downpour. The streets were lonely with hardly anyone on the road. It was raining by now and there was a corner ahead. He opened the door of his car and suddenly he heard a crying sound of a girl round the corner. He was shocked to see a girl sitting on the roadside. He asked her “What happened, why are you crying?”. She said that “A thief stole her purse and a gold bracelet.”.

He saw that she was hurt so he took her to the doctor. The whole night he thought about her and while thinking about her he fell asleep. It was 9:00 am by now. He went to meet that girl and from there he got to know about the look of that thief. He was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans. For an emergency, he gave her his number and his address. From there he went for duty. His duty was till 12:00 pm only. When he got free from duty with the help of some more officers we started finding the thief. Four days passed. He was having dinner and suddenly one of the Officer called and told me the brilliant news that the hideout of the thief was caught and the thief is behind the bars. He went to the Police Station in a hurry and left the door open. He reached there and asked about all the stolen things. Every time he says he is not a thief he is a reporter but he did not believe him. Suddenly he got a phone call from that girl and he got to know that she fooled him. She was a thief and that man was a reporter and he was a difficulty for them as he got to know about their work.
