The Silent Tears

Being born in a family where everyone was so

excellent in academics with doctorate degree

or gold medalist her average performance in

academics was often a topic of discussion among

relatives being bullied harassed and beaten up

by her own family she would cry silently with

her tears dropping in her drawing book as her

sketches would reveal her trauma and frustration 

often eating a lot to fill up the emptiness and 

loneliness in her heart she would often stammer

as there was problem with grammar and punctuation

nobody helped and everybody made all attempts

to kill her self-confidence and self esteem

nobody realised her inner battle, her exceptional sketching

and dance was never acknowledged, forgot to smile

she had lost herself in darkness forever.
