The Secret Of The Bungalow
The Secret Of The Bungalow

In the year 1895 in Paris, there was a huge bungalow which was surrounded by a forest on all four sides. The strange thing about it was that it had mirrors on its outer walls that didn't shine at day, and shined at night when the moon used to appear. No human ever passed that way. No one lived there. People started thinking that it was a horrible place.
In the year 1897, a brave man named Mr. Thenceforth decided to live in the bungalow. Many people gave him warnings but he didn't listen as he didn't believe in ghosts.
One day as he stepped in the old bungalow, he saw portraits of the people who lived there earlier. There were long corridors that had rooms on either side. As there was no supply of light in the bungalow, Mr. Thenceforth had to light candles.
One night at nearly 12 o'clock when Mr. Thenceforth was having a look in his bungalow, he saw a door, which he hadn't seen before. When he went closer to it, he noticed that it was locked from outside.
As Mr. Thenceforth wanted to open the door, he went to the bungalow's library which was piled with old books. As Mr. Thenceforth had thought, he got something useful. It read:
The Mysterious Room,
In the attic,
In the box,
On the shelf,
On its top,
KEY
Mr.Thenceforth quickly went to the attic with a candle in his hand.
It was dark inside. There were spider nets all around. As Mr.Thenceforth was searching, he came across a shelf and on its top he could see a golden box. Mr. Thenceforth took the box and opened it. There was a key inside it. He took it and scurried towards the mysterious room.
When he opened the door all he could see was darkness. So he took another candle and went inside and closed the door behind him.
PART-2
Next 3-4 days there was no trace of Mr. George Thenceforth. So his younger sister Mrs.Maria Fonsica started to worry.
After some days Maria went to the bungalow hoping to see her elder brother. She realized that Mr. Thenceforth had mysteriously disappeared. All she could find useful was her brother's diary.
On its last page Mr. Thenceforth had written that he was going to find the keys of the mysterious room in the attic of the bungalow.
On the map, Maria could see where the mysterious room was. So she scurried towards the room.
She noticed that the door was locked from outside. She got confused about how the door was locked from outside if Mr. Thenceforth didn't come out?
Maria died in shock. As she was a widow, no one came to know about her death.
PART-3
After some years Mr. Romio Rutherford a British merchant came to live in the bungalow with his daughter named Mary.
One night, at nearly 12 o'clock when Mary woke up to drink water, she saw a shadow who was calling her out of the bedroom. Mary got scared and waken up her father who was sleeping beside her. When he woke up the shadow had disappeared.
Mary's father scolded her and slept again. But Mary couldn't sleep.
After some time Mary saw the shadow again and she decided to follow it. The shadow led her to the mysterious room. The door was open. Unknowing the danger, Mary went inside it and the door shut behind her.
The next morning when Mr. Rutherford woke up, he noticed that Mary was not beside him. He searched in the bungalow but Mary was not there.
When he finally came in front of the mysterious room, he saw Mary's handkerchief had fallen in front of the door of the mysterious room which was locked from outside.
He tried to break the door, but it didn't break. Heartbroken Mr. Rutherford went to the library hoping to find something useful.
After searching he got a book which read ' THE HISTORY OF THE BUNGALOW '.
After reading the book he came to know that inside the room was a time machine. Each and every member of that house had gone into the room. It meant that the people had traveled in the past. In simple words ' TIME TRAVEL '. No one knew about how to come back.
