The road without a return

​At the edge of a small village in Palakkad, there is a large field covered in forest. There is an old four-storey house that is almost collapsed there—'Kizhakkemana'. No locals go to that side after dusk.
​Once, a young man named Vinay, who had come from the city, got lost on his bike and came across that field. When it started raining, he climbed onto the porch of the big house to seek shelter. It seemed to him that the wooden gate opened on its own.

​The light inside the house was dim. Vinay turned on his phone's flashlight. There were black and white pictures of old housewives on the wall. When he reached a large mirror, he was shocked. A female figure was standing right behind his reflection in the mirror! But when he turned around, there was no one there.
​Suddenly, he heard a song from somewhere... an old lullaby. It was from the upper floor. Unable to contain his curiosity, he climbed the stairs and went upstairs. 
​The secret in that room
​There was only one room locked there. Vinay pushed the door open. There was a person sitting inside the room. An old man with gray hair, sitting on a chair and rocking.
​"Who is it?" Vinay asked in a trembling voice.
​The old man slowly turned around. Instead of his eyes, there were only holes! He laughed and said: "No one who came here has ever returned, my son... You won't go either."
​Frightened, Vinay ran downstairs. But no matter how much he ran, the stairs never ended. When he tried to reach the ground floor, he returned to the same room where the old man was sitting. It was as if time had stopped!
​The next morning...
​When the rain stopped and the sun came out, the locals walked that way. In front of the locked door, a bike was sitting abandoned. No one was seen inside.
 It is said that those who pass by that mana can still hear the sound of a bike starting at night, accompanied by a lullaby.
