The Road A Father Laid

Ishan, when he was a boy loved his father so much. He was very fond of playing cricket. His father, Kamal, helped him nurture his interest. Ishan dreamed of playing for India. Kamal drove Ishan to cricket practice every day and he also shared his knowledge about the game with Ishan. Ishan slowly became a good cricketer. He started representing his school, then zone, then state in his age category.

Kamal pushed Ishan to work hard. Kamal also taught Ishan how to be straight forward and honest. One life lesson that Ishan learned from his father is to be humble and truthful. When Ishan started developing into a good cricketer, people started appreciating his good qualities along with his game. These valuable life lessons that he learned from his father helped him grow into still higher levels. He represented his state at senior levels and eventually represented his nation. He made his father proud.
