The Rat & Glue trap

They could have sealed this portion. Then no creature enters this place. Nirvaan murmured by seeing the grills.

A tiny rat is looking for help. The face and legs of the rat were stuck in a glue trap.

As the grills do not have any mesh rats do enter the space to reach the dust bin in the office cafeteria.

How can I save it? Nirvaan thought for a moment. 

He tried to remove glue around the legs. As he tried, the rat moved side a bit and again stuck in glue.

He poured water on it. It started shivering with coldness.

No one likes you. Nirvaan said to the rat. Because you spread diseases. Right? Even you don't know how you are the carrier for diseases.

No one is interested in its life. Trapping a creature. Throwing it in the dust bin. The creature slowly takes painful death by dehydration and starving. Gifting a painful death. It was all looked natural for them. 

Sometimes Nirvaan has seen how a sparrow gets stuck in these glue traps. Once the wings were touched to glue the sparrow starts its journey towards death. Even if you save it after the loss of wings, it will be no big use. It is gonna be attacked easily and becomes prey to other animals.

Nirvaan too shivered. He has to go back to work. He reminded how rats, lizards, birds die a painful death in glue traps.

Something died inside him when he left the shivering rat in the glue trap.
