The Rakhi Gift

When shifting the house my friends found a parcel box in the store room.

They came to me while I am packing all the glass items.

Vishnu! Have you forgotten this? Kishore asked.

It was a photo frame with one of my pictures kept and written with the caption "Best wishes, Brother". A rakhi is placed inside the frame.

Yep. Kavya has given this. She was our classmate.

You should take this. Lalith suggested.

I don't know. I never felt her as a sister. Feeling her as my sister is a big responsibility. 

Let me take the photo out of it. I took my photo out of it and kept the frame aside.

This might look silly to some people. But, I felt it was the right thing to do. If I am not ready to take forward any person in my thoughts, it is better to keep their memories in the past only.

While my friends gave me some weird expressions, I went outside to load the vehicle.
