The morning started at its usual note with the smile of the little girl "Vaidehi". The melodious bhajans made the morning more freshened up.

Today something unusual happened. Vaidehi got up a bit early and that too without the help of others. Her mother screamed "Dress up fast Vaidehi. Don't be late today at least." This made Vaidehi more active and she brushed her teeth, took the bath and got ready on time while others were busy with their tasks.

Vaidehi was a 4th standard girl who was always ready to go to school at any cost without missing a single day. After being ready she came out to her private garden where she saw a pupa about which she read a few days back in her class when she had learnt the life cycle of a butterfly. Although Vaidehi was not sure whether it's a pupa or something else so to ensure this she took out her science book from her bag and matched the picture with the same and noticed that it was the same pupa she had learnt about.

Vaidehi was so excited to see something like this. After a few minutes, she observed that the pupa was shaking as if something was trying to come out of it. She then remembered the class lesson that a colourful butterfly comes out of the pupa. And it was the butterfly only that was struggling to come out of the shell.

Vaidehi being so kind couldn't resist herself to help the butterfly in its struggle and with the Vaidehi's help, a beautiful coloured butterfly came out of the shell. But the wings of the butterfly were too weak that the butterfly couldn't fly as that small little help proved to be the worst thing in the life of the butterfly. The butterfly died after a few moments. But Vaidehi couldn't understand actually what had happened to that butterfly that couldn't survive even after the help her. This made Vaidehi very sad and emotional.

Then she went to the school and told everything to her teacher that happened to her today's morning and the teacher was awestruck. Although the teacher was very happy seeing the kindness of the girl she also imparted a lesson to the girl that - " If you try to participate in someone else's struggle, that could prove to be the worst for the being you are trying to help."
