The Mystery of Wing 13
The Mystery of Wing 13
Late at night, a young nurse named Caroline was sent to the old Central Hospital to check some documents. The hospital had been abandoned for years, and people said that Wing 13 was haunted. Caroline opened the door to Wing 13. Inside, a cold breeze and an eerie silence filled the air. Dust covered the floors, and some of the old beds were broken. Suddenly, she heard a soft sound of footsteps—tap… tap… tap. “Who’s there?” She asked in a trembling voice. There was no answer. Caroline shone her flashlight toward the last bed. There sat a patient, head bowed, tapping his hands on the bedframe. Caroline stepped closer and asked, “Are you okay?” The patient slowly lifted his head. His face was pale, his eyes hollow, and his mouth sewn shut. Caroline stepped back in horror.
Suddenly, all the old equipment in the room turned on, and the screens displayed a single message: “You are not Alone…” Caroline screamed and ran, but she could still hear the same whisper in her ears: “In Wing 13, we always count… the living.” The next day, Caroline decided to check the hospital’s old records. She discovered that years ago, a terrible incident had occured in Wing 13. Many patients had mysteriously died overnight, and their files were incomplete. As she was reading the documents, her phone rang. The screen showed a message: “You’ve seen it… now the game begins.”
Caroline threw the phone and ran outside. But then she saw it—hundreds of faces staring at her from the hospital windows. They were the same patients, all with stitched mouths. Her heart stopped. A voice whispered in her ear: “We’ve counted others before… now it’s your turn.” Caroline ran until she reached the street, but when she looked back, the hospital had vanished. Only an empty field and a broken sign remained, which read: “Wing 13 – No Entry.”
But Caroline knew one thing— the ghosts were still watching her… and somewhere, the counting was not yet finished.
