" When the dinner was over, did he left the house?" asked the boy. " We have no idea about that" told the lady." But he didn't come to join us at our party" said James. Being confused, the lady said " Yes, he went out at ten o'clock but he didn't dine with us. He was in a hurry, he left his phone also on the sofa." Wait, I remember something, I last saw him at church" informed Charles. The lady and the boys are astonished, shocked at the same time, they can't imagine their brain and mind. The lady, " It happened to be a magic today". Charles, " I....just can't believe....what has not allowed by him over the past ten years has happened today"

. The man was Mackonie and the lady is his fiancee. He was totally in a different world at the moment. He was drunk and was laying on couch in the hall. Inside, Velia in a very low voice asked the girl, " Did they work?" The girl smiled strangely, " Yes, I made them work". " And what about the other guy?" asked Velia holding a glass half-filled. " Actually he was not in a position to handle himself only and while he was fighting, he was taken prisoner" told the girl with a laughter at the end. " You know what, life is too short" said Velia with some success of jealousy seen in her eyes. When he came back to his senses, he was finished with himself. Mackonie with red face went to Velia and gave her a good shake, " Why did you cause this trouble?" Velia laughed aloud. Mackonie, " I know secrets of yours".

Velia, " But that doesn't matter infront of gold". Mackonie, " I will not also sit quietly". A man summoned him at his office at the very moment, " Come at Inn street now, you need to handover your car tomorrow". Mackonie sat on the floor with immense guilt, " No....no....Bank...rupted".

His fiancee, that lady, Daisy too was summoned at Inn Street. They understood everything when the manager explained them. Hearing it, she was unconscious. Admitted to hospital, Whenever she saw something or someone she threw things.

The doctors said she is traumatised.

His friends specially Charles told, You should have run the company in a proper manner, you already knew if anyone knows about our production how we go fooling people around, it could lead to this current situation". James, " I have a better one, to try for auction if....". Mackonie, " Where will we stay...don't forget I have children". James, " Who disagreed, huh?" Charles, " We know the details and one that Lunar could be of your help, whom you most hated". Mackonie, " He is behind the bars....he is of no use to us". Advocate Lumina arrives at James house. Few expensive things were still left in the place. Mrs. Lumina, " Its very sad to hear, but the papers are ready."

Charles, " Can't we have tomorrow's time, Ma'am?" Mrs. Lumina, " I can't promise anything, but I will talk to higher authority for your convenience. I will take a leave now". After a silence, James, " Let's try for God's sake. I will talk to Lunar's manager, no other options are left to choose". The three tried to sold the few they had but in vain. Mackonie as a father was very good-natured. He consoled his children that they were playing a game to be very happy in life, to forget all the difficulties. The children asked, " Is it really a game daddy?" He was afraid, he knew he was leading them on the wrong side. But today his doings were making his family suffer. He had tried committing suicide, but realised he lacked courage for that also. The world would laugh at him as loser. He slapped himself infront of mirror. He had wasted his youth in casino. When Daisy returned she was full of regret and told everything, " Why had I engaged myself with such a useless person, I had ruined my career, you ass, a black sheep why hadn't you earned a single penny with honesty?" He went away the house again putting his head down with shame and feelings of disgust.

It was six o'clock in the morning, door bell rang, she thought the daily things like Newspaper and milk had arrived, she opened the door, found nothing but a letter lying at the bottom of the door. She opened it and found her husband's death news. She sat down like a statue. She was guilty and had repentance why she told him like that last night. That day afternoon, Velia's mother arrived. She was a rich lady, in Velia's childhood everyone gossiped she had spoiled her by pampering her a lot and fulfilling all her wishes, as her father had been separated from them, he had been a very honest person, not able to tolerate her mother as it seemed to him like a mental torture, everytime she ordered him what he should do and what not.

Velia's assistant the girl had met with one of Mackonie's friend James accidentally on the road when she was going to the man's office to find out some documents to give to Velia. Slowly, after their conversations James had fallen in love with her. Only after one month of relationship they had secretly married in a church. He started to grow apart from his friends and started blaming Mackonie infront of everyone. He had created his own boundary. Charles and their other friends settled in other places. Before her death, she had escaped at night with the children to a relative's place and no one got to know their whereabouts.

Due to the disappearance everyone thought Mackonie's family no more existed. Years passed, Mackonie's children grew up in the hills. They were two brothers and one sister. The girl in her free time took care of the orchards in everyone's house there in the neighbourhood. Everyone knew her as a jolly girl who likes to make others happy and the brothers looked after the aunt's tea business. They got to know about the truth, lived with their aunt, mother had died due to a disease few months after their father's passing away. Sometimes disguised themselves and went to the neighbouring city and that is the place where they were born, trying to identify who were the people who conspired. Velia was an old lady who had to run a bookstore to survive. She sometimes went to the bar where competitions were held for drinking and who won was rewarded. She had tried her luck but whatever she earned was spent on playing cards. Unknowingly James's daughter was a very good friend of Mackonie's son Hampson. She sometimes used to visit their house.
